Arrival Story:
My mom had wanted a new kitten. So we went looking for one, and came across this sweet old woman whom lived alone except for her cats. One of whom just had a litter of kittens. I think there were five. Out of all of them Shayla was the only Calico. None of her litter mates would have anything to do with her. And the woman said she was afraid she wasn't going to make it because the mommy cat had very little to do with her also. So instead of my mom bringing home a new kitten, Shayla came to live with me.

Bio:
Shayla's was named in memory of Kayla. My baby left us in October of 1999.
