Arrival Story:
We went to the local cat shelter with a view to adopting two adult cats. However, we fell in love with Lisa and her kittens, Rosie and Lily at first sight. We adopted them on the spot and they came to live with us the next day.

Rosie is the family's champion hunter. She started off small, with slugs and graduated, via three pork pies, to frogs, small rodents and birds although she has tried larger rodents too. We believe she was responsible for the dead rats found on our kitchen doormat on two separate occasions. Fortunately, she is very good at taking prey, particularly live prey, outside when asked to by the humans. Rosie also has a history of going missing, the most famous incident was getting herself shut in an empty house. Well, the cat flap and door looked just like ours and she wanted to see if the rest of the house was also the same. It wasn't. We managed to rescue her after 36 hours. Rosie went to the Rainbow Bridge after a short illness on 6 September 2010.
