Arrival Story:
We went to our local cat shelter with a view to adopting two adult cats but instantly fell in love with the first little cat family we saw. This was Lily and her sister, Rosie and their mother Lisa. We adopted them on the spot and they came to live with us the next day.
Bio:
Lily had what we believe was a road accident in April 2003. Her right front paw was very severely injured and, although the vets did their best to save it, it was eventually amputated. She has adapted to this very well, and keeps herself sparklingly clean. She also tries very hard to prove that she is just a normal cat, really, and brings in all sorts of prey, usually alive, and sometimes when there's company. She will usually take it out again when requested, although there have been occasions when she's had to be picked up and put out, still hanging on. We think she was responsible for the bird that was flying around the house back in the summer.
