Arrival Story:
I was just looking for a kitty to adopt and saw him in the cage, he had been in the shelter for a month already. I read his name on the cage tag and he meowed at me. I held him and knew he was the one! Tyler has been a part of the family for 4 years now and loves it.
Bio:
Tyler has been coming out of his shell, slowly but surely. I believe that the last person who took care of him before I adopted him wasn't the nicest caretaker unfortunately. Poor Tyler still carries some emotional baggage from that rough time in his life.
Tyler also received his last name (Daenzer) from a coworker of mine, who's name was Tyler Daenzer. I had never met anyone named Tyler before and oddly enough, I gave Tyler his last paycheck on my birthday.. and found Tyler the cat in the shelter the following day! Tyler has his own song too- Tiny Dancer by Elton John- as his name is so close. And he does have his own fan club in my apartment building too!
