She and her sister were given to me as kittens.

Bio:
She and her sister, Stella, are calicos and live together. They usually get along well and can often be seen sleeping on each other. Sophie is also the creator of what we call the "Sophie step-dance" in which she and her sister both knead their paws back and forth on you or whatever they are preparing to sit down on comfortably. Sophie is both shy and sensitive, yet demands attention. If the environment is too loud or intimidating for her, she will stand in the bedroom doorway until she feels comfortable to come out. She loves to be petted, and enjoys sleeping in our bed at bedtime.

My Temperment

Hi, I'm Sophie. I live indoors with my sister Stella. We're calicos.
I usually get along with my sister pretty well, but sometimes she gets on my nerves, especially if she jumps on me while I'm trying to sleep.
I'm a pretty calm cat in general. Sometimes my stomach gets upset and I puke everywhere, but I've gotten better about it lately.

My humans just got back from a vacation for a few days, and I was lonely without them. I'm really happy they're home, and sit on them every chance I get. I don't like my usual bedtime to be disrupted, and make sure we're settled in the bedroom around 10pm. Bedtime is a happy time.

A few weeks ago, our friend Katie came to visit. I don't think she realized that she didn't live here. I stayed in the bedroom during most of her visit. When I hissed at her, she tried to pretend I wasn't there. My sister hid under the bed until she had left. We could smell that Katie was here long before we saw her, and I almost mistook my sister for the intruder. I guess we were glad when she went home because she took away from our petting time.

But things are pretty swell right now. I have my humans and my bedtime and my food. T's all good. :)
