The most recent xrays have shown that Sam has got cancer, that chemo and operations are not options and she's in an advanced stage.
Dad has got an appointment with the vets this week [he said without Sam] to talk about options, what options?
Fed up of this.

Sams' last visit to the vets [last week if this stupid memory is correct] for a day of blood tests have showed she does not need her insulin increasing which is great news, but she's also had an xray done and they have said they think she's got some small problem with something or other to do with the heart.
Unfortunately it was a drunk human idiot that took her and forgot most of what was said, but things are looking good so far.
She still has noisy breathing [which was why she had the xray] but it looks like they've ruled out the 'serious' causes for it.
Very glad it's not turned out to be cancer, the poor cat doesn't deserve any more suffering, she's had her share, and probably for a lot of others as well.

Sam,for some reason has lost her voice recently, she makes the movement with her mouth, but the voice doesn't come out.
Though she has been in good health,is eating very well-including going for the other girls food when no one is looking, she is liking Sainsburys' Encore cat food range the most now, because it is just like Applaws but a lot better.
Not long ago Sams' bowel fell out again, though it was very good that the vet was able to push it back in without Sam needing a general anaesthetic as Sam can't have them due to her reactions to them.
She is currently having wipe downs with kitty wipes-which she does not like as it is like calling her work shoddy, she's also lost some muscle mass which isn't too bad,and the non cancerous tumour/cyst type thing on her head hasn't grown any further.
She is having a great time controlling the younger girls of the house,
doing knee surfing, her diabetes is stable and the diabetic caused neuropathy in her back legs is not bad,so things are very good right now.
The only problem is trying to think what to get the lazy bugger for christmas.

When came to stay over this week, found out Sam has had diorreah back again,
it got very bad when her diabetes was unstablised though dad thinks the insulin causes it.
She's back on this pink liquidy stuff to try and help her diorreah though the good news is she has put on more weight since last week and she is getting stronger.
She is no longer eating whilst lying down, her muscles are improving.

Great news for Sam.
She has noticibly put on some weight, she has been struggling to put back on any weight for a while due to diabetes issues, but this week after coming to stay for the weekend, noticed the improvement immediately-the human slaves who live here didn't notice it at all, unbelievable.
She also has neuropathy in her back legs [from diabetes, again] and it has slightly improved since her diabetes was unstablised, she's not falling over whenever am have seen her, though she seems to be walking with her feet turned out more now,am making sure she's getting her physio everyday from the humans who live here, that is what slaves are for afterall.
Congratulations to Ms Sam. and hope it carries on improving.

Since the profile was first made for Sam,there has been a few changes to her routine.
She had developed severe diareah from her diabetes and her bowel had fell out her
back end but the vet managed to push it back in without surgery [she cannot have surgery because of how she is with general anaesthetics] strict diet control has now changed that, she now eats hills prescription diet W/D biscuits, chicken and certain cat foods.
she also had her insulin moved up to two units per dose.
She is taking life easier currently, and is making sure not to over exercise herself [like that would ever happen].
She is going for a walk in the garden in the sun later to unstiffen her well rested legs.
