Arrival Story:
Cat is my mother's cat. On Sept 3, 2003, we lost my Dad, Spot and Trouble in a car accident. At the memorial service this cat was seen wandering through the chairs at the outdoor service. We had never seen him before. The next day this cat ran past the kitchen window. My brother and I opened the garage door to see if he would come in. As a stray we thought he would be afraid. Instead he came right up to both of us and let us pet him. He wandered in and ran around the house like he lived there. We let him out and told him he could come back later. He hesitated and looked back at me. I told him go on, you can come back again later. Later in the day I sat out on the screen porch looking at a photo of my father and began to cry. Within seconds that cat came running out of nowwhere across the yard and scratched at the screen porch door. I let him in, hugged and pet him.
He was so loving. A few days later, I flew home. When I called my mom later in the week, she told me he had done the same thing for her. After a while he was spending more time in the house than out. One time I called her and I said where is the CAT? She said he was sleeping in my father's briefcase on the dining room table. We knew from the start that this cat was special. Now he travels with my mom everywhere she goes. He is loving and cuddly. We are all very thankful for him!!

Well I flew to Chicago this Thanksgiving. The other cats in the house are kinda wierd. I know we are friends but, Blatz just sits outside my room staring at me. I hiss at him and tell him to go away, but he just cries. Oly and I get along for the most part.
Other than that, I am enjoying my stay. The food here is great. The weather... well I've seen better. It snows here. Yuck.
