Smokey was given up by owners who had to move and had been sitting at a shelter waiting for someone to love him and take him home. I saw him and when I held him he curled up in my lap and began to purr loudly and make muffins. He was supposed to be my Christmas kitty, but ended up being more my ex-husbands cat then mine.
