I passed quietly with my daddy holding me 5 days ago from a problem we didn't know about till it was too late to save me. She has one sister, Blaze, surviving her.

We miss our little one eyed Little Blaze and will carry her within our hearts forever.

Thank you effuryone!

First, I want to say thank you to all that sent me rosies for DDP yesterday and all the love I received! You are all pawsome and I love you for it! I was so surprised to get it that Meowma cried when she saw it. Thank you HQ and thank you all my dear furriends!

Please effuryone, go to Eve's page and read her diary and sign the petition for her! Something really has to be done about that shelter and the vet that did the surgery on her when she was in such sad shape. Let's focus on that and hope we can make some changes for the better for the other furs in that place!

Once again, thank you one and all for the rosies and love!

Purrs of Love,

Little Blaze

Sweet little Eve has had to go to the Bridge. She just couldn't make it and God called her home. We all know she tried and our PoP and purrs and purrayers just weren't enough, but she'll be a very bright and shining star in the heavens tonight! She can play and run and romp now and be healthy and see! Fly free sweet little Eve! We all love you, now and forever!

Sad Purrs of Love and Comfort go out to her Catster mommy to be and for her rescue mommy. They're both wonderpurr and we love them too!

I'd like to ask that effuryone please help us purr and purray for a dear sweet little blind fur named Eve that was rescued from a high kill shelter only to find out that she can't walk and is severely malnourished. She has a forever home, but until she gets better, she can't travel to it.

Purrlease put your paws/hands together and purr and purray/pray for this dear little fur! Her mommy to be is so very worried for her and her rescuer is too! We love both furmilies very much and just want to support them with this little girl. WE BELIEVE IN EVE!!!

Purrs of Love and Healing,

Little Blaze and Furamily

I've been Tagged!

Love it and here are my answers!

If you're tagged, you must answer these questions about yourself or your family. Then tag three furriends in our group to join the fun. You can post in the group about who tagged you and what gift you received to say thanks.

#1: It's a month of thanksgiving. For what are you most thankful this year?

Having a safe and warm home with wonderpurr pawrents that love each and every one of us! I only wish more furs could have this kind of home and love we feel every day.

#2: Describe the Thanksgiving dinner of your dreams!

This could be dangerous cuz I LOVE any and all meats AND milk and of course, it wouldn't be complete without catnip, would it? So, put it all together and I'll make short work of devouring it MOL!

#3: To whom do you dedicate this Thanksgiving? What special furriend are you remembering this year?

I dedicate this Thanksgiving to my very special furriend Scarlett. She is one furkit that deserves all the love and attention that she has been shown and I hope she remains with her pawrents and all of us here on Catster for quite some time yet.

Three questions, three furriends from our BCR group! Have fun and let's remember to be thankful for our blessings this November!

Thank you, Oreo, for tagging me!!!

Buddee's diary entry!

Buddee's asked us to let effuryone know he has a new entry. He's feeling better now. Here's his latest news:

I just want to say thank you once again to all that have been purring and purraying for me to get better!!! I am almost back to normal with my foot. I still favor it a bit and will hold it up or fold it under when I'm sitting or eating. I still am limping a bit, but nowhere near as badly as I was and sometimes it is not even noticeable unless you look closely.

I owe effuryone a huge thank you and want you all to know that me and my Meowma and furamily love you all!

Purrs and Love,

Could effuryone please?

Meowma wrote a story for me this time!

Meowma's been busy writing again! This time it's for me! Hope ya all like it!

Has anyone ever tried to figure out the meaning, the real meaning, of beauty? With animals, I don't think it means much. On the other hand, with humans? It seems to mean a great deal to some. Beauty can and does mean a great deal of things. For instance, the color and look of a flower, or the sky, or even a leaf. But has anyone ever placed the word beauty with, say, a three legged dog or cat? Or maybe a one eyed cat? How about a blind dog or cat? No, sadly, I don't think many associate beauty with any of these, except maybe the humans that own them.

I know of several blind cats and their owners that love them. I have a one-eyed cat that I love very dearly and is just as beautiful to me as any of my cats. She is the sweetest girl I have. She will fall all over herself trying to get in my lap or just lay beside me, purring strongly and kneading my leg. To me, she's one of the most beautiful creatures in the world. She may have only one eye, but in many ways it becomes her. She is one of the sisters (that I still have) to Starr, my handsome Bridge kitty. I will write of her sister Blaze at a later date, but she is also with me.

Little Blaze has a character all her own. She sees as well with one eye as most cats do with two. She plays normally and loves the feather on a string! She's extremely quick too. When she looks at me with that one big round eye, my heart just melts and I'm so glad she is with me! She's the sweetest and gentlest natured cat I have ever had. It doesn't matter that she is "different" from the other furs. It doesn't matter that she'll never be "fully sighted". She is Beauty to me! She is an extra special part of our family and always will be.

L is for the love she shows every day.
I is for the intuitiveness she uses.
T is for the total love she shows daily.
T is for the time she spends with me.
L is for the loving heart she has.
E is for the extra special looks she gives.

B is for the brave attitude she displays.
L is for the light in her single eye.
A is for the anticipation of play daily.
Z is for the zippy way she runs through the house.
E is for the eternal love she will always have from me.

For Pawrents All Over the World!

After much deliberation and some input from some dear furriends, Meowma has decided to let me post a short story written in honor of my angel brofur and sibling Starr and all the beloved pets that are lost everywhere. She has been dealing with guilt issues surrounding my brofur and my siblings losses and this is her therapy. Here it is:

Our Shining Star

A bright star shone in the night sky above, twinkling strongly. It seemed to get brighter as the night wore on. As the humans
struggled with a way to tell their children that their beloved animal was gone to the Bridge, the tears sparkled as they fell from their eyes. They looked to the heavens and saw the bright star glittering and watched as it got stronger.

They exchanged glances, wondering, then both smiled at each other. Walking hand in hand, they returned to the room where the children were. Slowly they all joined hands and bowed their heads, for the children already knew in their hearts what had happened and why their parents were so teary eyed.

They all lifted their heads and looked at each other, then one by one went out to see that bright shining star. One child said, "Look! There are many other bright stars too! Are those other animals that have passed over the Bridge?" The father said, in all honesty, that he didn't know, but he knew the one very bright one was their pet.

Mustering the strength to ask, the youngest of the children asked how his father knew that. The father replied, "All pets pass over the Bridge and become a star of love in our hearts and stay with us throughout our time here on earth. When it is our time to go, we will meet up again with our pets and be together for eternity. They watch over us from day to day in all that we do and in little ways, make sure that we know that they are there." The child sweetly looked at his mother and
father and sister and said, "That makes me feel better knowing Twofer is up there and watching me. I'll watch him too whenever I see that bright star or hear the wind blow a certain way or the sun shines brightly on his patch of carpet." The mother was amazed at the child's heartfelt words, but also knew in her heart that he was right.

The moral of this little story is this. Yes, we do feel pain when we lose that beloved pet and yes, it does so hurt us. But the pet, no matter what kind, is happy and feels no pain and runs free as it did as a young one. They are always with us, no matter what we do or say, watching over us from above over that beautiful Rainbow Bridge, waiting for us to join them so we can all be together with them again. The pain will lessen with time, as it should be, but the memories will stay forever in your heart and bring a smile to your face when you least expect it. Cherish those memories as long as you live! I do!
