Jas, baby, booboo
Chicken, the first cat I ever met that refuses to eat anything with fish flavor.
He gets really grumpy if left alone for too long.
A fuzzy mouse.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Any place he knows he is not supposed to be, usually my desk.
He is the only one that can beat the dog up and get away with it.
My husband's friend found a litter of kitten's inside his outbuilding. He told my husband that all of the kittens looked healthy and normal except for one (jasper). Jasper didn't seem to have any back legs. Even though my husband had said we couldn't have anymore kittens, at the time we had 7, he saw Jasper and knew he had to bring him home to me. He was my early Mother's Day gift. When my husband brought him to me, I was curious about his back legs. So I took a peek and started to cry, he was perfect, he was meant to be my Baby, legs or no legs. His right leg is almost complete but he has a club foot, and his left leg is missing just below the elbow. But he gets around just as well as any cat, and climbs better than any of my other babies.
Jasper I think was sent to me for a reason. About two months before he came home, I had had to put my other baby Buddy to sleep in April. Buddy was a Bobtail cat. I had him with me for a very short 7 years. The resembelance between Jasper and Buddy is Scary. Someone was looking out for my broken heart over Buddy and sent me Jasper. I will put up a page for Buddy later.

My mommy has put this off for two days. I know she is sad and so am I. My roomie Tootsie the bunny passed away on Monday. Mommy and I sat together and cried. My grandma came up and took care of getting Tootsie for burial, and then Daddy came home. Daddy, Mommy, and Tucker, took Tootsie and buried her in the family cemetary. Mommy left me at home because she knew I was just too upset. I still hear Mommy crying, especially everytime she comes in my room. Tootsies toys, food, and cage are still here. Mommy just cant bear looking at them but at the same time she cant bring herself to put them away. I am really going to miss her. Especially our cuddling together in the floor after mommy had brought us water and food. I used to never leave the room after mommy moved Tootsie in. But now I jump off of mommys desk and run down the hallway to the back door where Tootsie would always hop and sit. I cry. I know mommy is worried about me because she has given me nonstop attention since Monday. Last night I started crying because mommy went to bed, and she brought me a white stuffed bunny to sleep with. It helped a little. I didn't cry anymore last night, but I still am sad and miss Tootsie. She was my best friend aside from Tucker. I love her and miss her and wish she was still here to cuddle with. But mommy tells me that God gave us Tootsie for a reason and that we should be thankful for, and God needed to take Tootsie home with him to be with mommys other babies. Hopefully one day mommy and I will be able to get through one day without crying so much. And mommy can tell me stories about Tootsie and be able to laugh instead of crying. I am back to being the baby in the family again, and at first I didn't want to give my title to Tootsie. But then we became friends and now I don't want that title because it belongs to Tootsie. Well I am going to go for now, because mommy is crying again. Meow for now ~ Jasper

My mommy decided last week that I needed a roommate. Little did I know it would be "the bunny" known as Tootsie. I thought mommy would bring home a kitten so that I could terrorize it like I did my big sister Shayla. But who can terrorize the cute and cuddlesome little bunny. When mommy first brought her home, I thought I had a new little brother or sister. I was halfway right, but I was thinking "CAT". Boy did mom confuse me.
Oh well I don't seem to mind. I really like sharing my room with Tootsie, she keeps me company. Even though sometimes she hides and I think she is lost, so I will meow "HELLO" until mommy comes running wondering what is wrong. Mommy always knows where to find Tootsie just so I will know that she is safe.
Mommy likes that Tootsie and I have become friends. Now if only she didn't have to worry so much about Tucker and the bunny.
Tootsie and I really gave mommy and daddy a laugh the other day. Mommy came in to clean our room and give us fresh food/water. She was getting ready to clean up the litter pans when she discovered that Tootsie and I had traded bathrooms. Oh well, at least we are going in the right thing and not on the floor right? She just had to hollar for daddy to come and see why she was laughing. Mommy said we were "cute" and she smiled. I love it when Mommy smiles. I get really upset if she cries, it hurts my feeling's.
I like spilling my cat food so that mommy has to come in and clean our room on and off through out the day. I keep telling Tootsie to do the same, but she won't listen. Oh well. Well I better go for now, it is way past mommy's bedtime and I don't want to keep her up. bye for now, Jasper ;o)
