Arrival Story:
"Baby Harley" was found in my sister's garage. He was so malnourished he had almost starved to death. He was so cute and had the loudest purr in the world, hence his name. After some love and care, he started to grow and now has become a big boy. He's also still my baby.

Bio:
Harley is at least on his 7th life. After almost starving to death as a kitten, he also ended up with pneumonia in the middle of the summer. The vet was trying to advise me that he should be "let go." And, in order to appease me and my shrinking wallet, the vet said "You can give him IVs, etc. at home. Will you do that?" Of course, I would. I went and picked him up after 5 days in the animal hospital and nursed him back to health within a month. Approximately six months after that episode, he escaped through an open door and spent several days outside, while we had a nasty storm that left several inches of snow. I had looked for him everywhere, and was terrified that he was dead somewhere since he had just gotten over being so ill. He was spotted outside my patio door, and I rushed outside and drug his sorry butt out from under a shrub. He was NO worse for wear. He was clean and healthy, as he had spent the storm most likely in a rabbit's den. The only thing that was wrong was he was very hungry. A few weeks after that, a door was open for a split second, and he spent two days outside again. This time, he waited patiently until I pulled him off of the roof. I am at a loss as to understand why he couldn't come down by himself. Not learning from previous mistakes, he zoomed out the door again, and spent the night under my car in the driveway with his friend, Mr. Rabbit. Harley is going to give me a heartattack.
