Arrival Story:
Frankie is a rescued stray who lived in our neighbor's yard/garage until he came to live with us on Nov. 11, 2007 (hence, his birthdate since we don't know when he was born). He has been a stray for at least 6 weeks or so but possibly longer.
Bio:
Frankie was rescued after a week that involved me (and his other mama, Sarah) going down to our neighbor's backyard (4 houses down from ours) and feeding Frankie by hand. On the day he followed me home, I used treats and food to coax him down the sidewalk, up the driveway, and into the kennel I had set up in the garage. He lived in there until he saw the vet (We had to make sure he was negative for everything and the fleas were gone) and then he came into the house last weekend. He stayed in his safe room the first night but by Sunday morning, he was interacting with the other cats. Tobias loves him and was the first to welcome Frankie to our home. Frankie stayed in his safe room while we were gone (because we were not sure what he'd do when he realized a bird lives here too) then by Thanksgiving, he was out all of the time (and continues to have free roam of the house).
