Golf Cat; That's Me!

December 8th 2007 6:08 pm   [link to this entry]

Hi everyone! I am Missy!
I live on a golf course and I have free roam of the whole place! I have been asked to tell about my life here, so here it is:

I was found on a golf course when I was about two years old. I was sent to live with a kind elderly woman who was sadly on her death bead. She loved me dearly and let me play in her big yard and chirp with the finches in her bird feeder. But a few months later she passed away and I was sent to live in the house on the golf course again. There I was reunited with Bob, the ill-tempered tom cat that lived in that house. He was not around much though. He would disappear for up to months at a time. Now he has chosen to live with some of the neighbors, for some unknown reason… Anyway, my home is a few steps from the ever-lasting fields of green, close-cut grass and ponds, creeks, and large sand pits. I can, like Bob, come and go whenever and wherever I want to as long as I am avoiding bigger cats. It’s a great life on the golf course. I can use the giant litter boxes (or as the humans call them, “sand traps“), I can visit with other cats that are out for their evening strolls, or I can chase golf balls into the ponds and creeks! There’s also a variety of birds out there to catch… Rats and rodents too! It’s a pretty great life!
