   Leave a treat for Mia

Well, Mommy sometimes walks past me calling out for Smushyface, Pressis, Tiny, and Peanut. It was just last week I realized she was talking to ME...sometimes I question her sanity. You'd think she'd know my name by now...

Kitty Complexion:

Silver-Patched Tabby

If there is a blanket to go under, I am there -- and I will be purring my head off. Because as you know, if I can't see you, you can't see me.

Life is too good be bothered with petty nonsense, why can't we all just get along? I *am* peeved however, that my "Cover your Poo" kitty memo goes yet unheeded by my own BROTHER! It gives cats a bad name really...those sloppy cats out there.

Favorite Toy:
Mice. What? They're not real mice? Bah! I'm going to kill it anyway. It smells so lovely...what is that particular fragrance...catnip you say? Quite fetching really...I must have more of that.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Cat tree, the couch after Mommy warms up my spot, next to Mommy on the computer chair, or on Mommy.

Favorite Food:
Wellness Chicken or Turkey -- it helps maintain my girlish figure.

I can purr while talking at the same time. I can also purr so hard that my whole body shakes. I'm also a stellar conversationalist, and I have to say that I have a particular knack for getting attention whenever I want it.

Arrival Story:
Mommy saw me after looking at my brother Jack -- I was hiding behind him. I knew she loved me instantly, so I told her the feeling was mutual by flashing my pretty green eyes at her, batting my lashes, and putting my paw up to the glass separating us. I start to blush if I tell the rest, so I'll let Mommy tell you. Mommy: Mia had the cutest face I'd ever seen. She had such big, innocent, angelic eyes -- and they were set beautifully on her little smushy face. I had to have her, especially after I touched her soft bunny fur. Mia: Awww shucks.... *blush*

I'm very well behaved and mature for my age. I believe cleanliness is next to godliness, and therefore I am meticulous about cleaning my coat. I keep my nails trim with a daily morning scratch on the sisal post, followed by a luxurious bath in the sun. I love belly rubs and snuggle sessions on the computer chair or the couch. That is...I love these things with Mommy. If you are not Mommy, then I will probably just spy on you from the stairs.

My Tail of Devotion for Mia

Mia Mia,
I'm not sure what happened to you before you came to me, but I am so glad we found each other. I can't communicate to you that I love you unconditionally, and that you never have to worry about anyone hurting you again, but I will continue to try for as long as we are together. I think we get closer to that understanding every day. When I first met you I didn't think you'd ever trust me enough to let me snuggle you, and now I can't seem to go anywhere without you being right there beside me, purring your little head off. I am so thankful for our special bond, and the way you opened up to me and gave trust another chance. You are such a beautiful little joy, every time I look at you I not only see your sweet soul, but I remember to see the good in things around me. You gave me something I needed, something priceless. I hope I have given the same thing to you. I love you, Pressis.

This is a special Tail of Devotion

I Want a New Brother

I am sad. Jack never lets me snuggle him, and if I try to clean him he just hits me on the head and puts me in a full-nelson. I mean I don't stand a chance -- he weighs twice as much as me and I have such a delicate demeanor, fighting just isn't in my nature. He never lets me go to the potty in peace. Not to mention that if HE wants to sit on the kitty perch that *I* am using, there is no such thing as "waiting his turn" or "asking nicely" in Jack's world. He just wacks me on the head and pushes me out of the way with his big fat butt. He is so self-absorbed! It's like he doesn't even notice me. *cries* I want a new brother -- a big handsome one that will take care of me. Then Jack will see what he's missing.

Luckily I have Mommy -- when she comes home every day I end up spilling my guts to her like she's my diary. At least she understands, that way I'm not alone. I'm going to go snuggle on her right now...I need some lovin'.

Watch Out Jack

Jack is going down. I have been polite long enough -- tonight is the night. I have told him time and time again to please cover his poo when he is done doing his business. I have asked nicely for the past year. What has it gotten me? Nothing! Every single time I supervise him going to the potty, I have to go back in and cover it myself. Men! Well he has been taking advantage of me for too long. Tonight when he is not expecting it, I am going to show him who's boss. Updates soon...
