Mari was also adopted through www.adoteumgato.com.br
She was found in an abandoned piece of land, meowing like a mad thing, and so strong was her meow that the person who found her thought it was an adult cat. I had recently lost a kitten, and my other cat, Horacio, was inconsolable, so Mari came home to cheer him up a bit. Curiosity: the person who found her named her 'Marilena', which is my own name. That was before I even knew them!
Bio:
Mari is the most loving cat one could have. She curls on my lap and looks up into my eyes as if she were saying 'I love you so very deeply'. She talks to me all day long, in meows and chirps and purrs and sometimes she sounds more like a bird than a cat. She 'kneads bread' all the time, and likes to sleep on my chest during the night (not so comfortable for me, but who am I to disturb a cat's sleep?). When she demands attention she wants it immediately, and it doesn't matter if I'm busy or just coming out of the shower or cooking - she will simply jump on my lap and bump her head on my hand so I pat her. She is my joy.
