Arrival Story:
Simba was a stray at my moms house, a neighbor threw a chair at him and broke, fractured and shattered his pelvic bone in numerous places. The vet didnt think Simba would ever walk again. That happened in 1996 and as you see hes still with me, not because he didnt heal, but because he won my heart. Simba healed, but still is very defensive of his back end if you pet him above his tail. I hope one day that neighbor learns what the saying "What goes around, Comes Around" means.

Bio:
Simba started losing weight, I thought maybe he was just grieving over the loss of Shadow in September. I then noticed Simba was breathing funny, like labored breathing.. I took him to the vets and he had a cancerous tumor infront of his heart causing his chest to fill with fluid collapsing his lungs.. I had to put Simba to sleep October 30, 2004. One month after Shadow, I lost 2 babies in 2 months, I dont know how I survived, but then again I do, I still have 6 fur babies that need me. I had my hand under Simba's chin petting him and I felt his last breath on my hand, something I will never forget.. I stayed with him till the end and I miss him dearly. He was my first baby. I will never forget Simba. I hope Simba and Shadow are up there together cuddling on a nice big soft cloud.
