Arrival Story:
My best friend had been entrusted with Maggie and her littermates by her mother, Clyde, when she brought them to her garage shortly after giving birth. At the age of three months, she and her sister Grey Mouser came to live with us and our "old men" JJ Jagger and Speck. I chose the week my husband was out of town to introduce them to our household; by the time he returned, they were best friends with the boys! And, within weeks, Maggie had Daddy wrapped around her paw!
Bio:
She has the tortie 'tude; she is tempermental and now loves to instigate scuffles with Scratch and Sniff. When JJ and Speck passed within six months of each other at the age of 17, Maggie was most affected; I called her Sad Maggie. I think deep down she still misses Speck. She "tolerates" Sniff and adores Scratch. She hisses at her sister, Mouser, but only in passing. She has taken to nipping at me when brushing her and now nips at the vet!
