it's long story, here goes ~~ i rescue cats and am proud owner of 3 maine coon cats, christie is 13 yrs, autumn is 8 and linnie is 2.
a year ago some people threw kittens out into street while drivng, i rescued a little gray angora at 4 weeks, lucy, she thrived til going to vets, once given cestek she passed. i was so devastatedand so were all the other cats and our 2 shih tzus. after 3 months was at petsmart and they had adoptions of cats. there were over 50, but i zeroed in on 2 little black kitens that were shy. i asked if the little black one was available , they said by halloween. iwas a little nervous after losing a kitten nad this little one was abandoned, but soon after halloween she came home, they the agency named her ballet , we renamed her bella ( ballet) she was so happy to come home and so sweet and everyone here loves her, i thank god for bella

i now have 4 new siblings, of course you know linnie, she is 3 this october.*
but welcome to ( 1.) "antonio, he was born around april 1st 2008, he is a huge tabby, when he came to mommy and daddy's home he was only 3 days old when he arrived, had to bottle feed him for not the usual 8 weeks, he wanted 12 weeks, he is so sweet and protective he welcome all our new kittens and cats from the rescue shelter SCAT.
(2.) "guinnie"( ghinevere) she arrived fom a litter of 4 in march, they were almost weaned, her sister and brothers were successfully adopted. guinnie is amulti colored tabby, and quite the ambassador of greeting all my students / guests when they visit our home.
(3.)"delilah" was born April 20th, sad to say all her siblings were found in a trailer park, of the 5 brought to our home, 2 survived.
please note everyone: we found the cure for these littel ones, little too late, took 2 vets to figure was" fading kitten syndrome".
we saved "delilah" and her brother "frankie", the treatments, with success were clindamycin and an herb called " godenseal."
delilah was way underweight, right after treatment she is a healthy
3.5 lbs at 11 weeks. she is amixxed hair black and white kitten.
she loves sleeping with me. frankiewas adopted thru a real nice home with a 16 yr old boy and a cool mom.
(4.) last but not least is "alex", she is a short haired gray tabby with all white feet, my daddy found her near his office building.
tried to get alex adopted, but she was upset , my daddy just went to petsmart and brought her home.
the only bad news is that christie cat passed away, she was my big sister, and we all tought 16 years old, but because she was a rescue in maine, (maine coon cat/calico), she was closer to 19 yrs old,
christie passed away of lymphoma, and we all are still grieving.
the only good from this news, all the kittens and i spent every waking minute with christie, slept with her , bathed her and surrouded her with love.
so we have 2 shih tzus star and mulan 13 yrs old and 9 yrs old.
and btw daddy has a pappilon, "rascal" he is 2 yrs old
and i still love our parrot "tara" an african grey she calls our names , meows just like us and talks with a vocabulary of over 250 words, and lol she greets us with kisses.
