I'm a healthy 16 pounds!

Grandma took me to the vet a few weeks ago for my routine check-up and annual vaccinations. The very first time I went to the vet I was only 8 weeks old and I was really tiny and sick. The vet said that I was actually one of the sickest kittens she had ever seen. After I got better and started growing, I went for more regular check-ups, but the nice lady vet who had treated me the first few times wasn't working those days. She saw me again for the first time in almost a year and couldn't believe it was me! She put me on the scale and had to double-check it. I weigh 16 pounds! :-) Mom thinks it's all the cat milk they bought for me when I was a baby (hehe). I'm glad to report that I'm healthy and happy.

It's Spring!

I'm so happy! All the snow is finally gone and I can go back out on the balcony and do roly-polies and sleep in the sun beams again! Mommy took some photos of me with her friend's digi-cam of me playing out in the sun! I hope all the other kitties are enjoying the beautiful weather too!

2 weeks almost?

Tomorrow will be officially 2 weeks since my sister Cloud came to live with us! At first, I wasn't too sure if I was going to like her, but now she's my best friend! As soon as mommy's alarm goes off we're right there to greet her together! Every morning we play tag or hide-and-seek and have breakfast together. I even decided to let her share my sleeping spots (except for the linen closet that's MINE) with me. I'm so happy to have her here! :-)

I have a new Stalker...er Sister!

My new Sister Cloud seems to really like me. She follows me wherever I go and even when I give her a little grumble, 5 minutes later she's right back at it! So I decided, fair is fair! Now when she runs off I start following her around! As long as she doesn't bug me while I'm trying to sleep, this game of tag is actually kinda fun!

Just letting ya know...

I haven't dropped off the face of Catster. Mommy has been over on Dogster A LOT playing with the puppies and she got a little negligent with me and Smokey's pages. I mean come on, Mommy, you have MORE pictures of me than Smokey or Lady put together and I *AM* the most photogenic being the baby of the family and all! She updated some photos today and added frames for all my pictures! I suppose as long as she doesn't get negligent with my feeding scehdule and play time then I can forgive her ;-)

7 Fun Facts About Sesshy

1) My name is Japanese for "Killing Perfection" or translated better "Perfect Killer". I was named after a character from an anime show called Inu Yasha. He has little stripe markings on his face like I do, so daddy chose this name for me.

2) I am still in contact with one of my litter mates. My brother Elmo was adopted by my Mommy's friend so we get to visit every now and then.

3) I still have my claws. Mommy and Daddy use special nail clippers they bought at the vet to trim my claws when they get long. After they get trimmed, I like to attack the plastic sliding door of the hall closet and make a really funny noise that usually sends mommy into hysterical laughing.

4)I'm the youngest of 3 animals in the household. My older brother Smokey is 20 (a 19 year difference!!) and the dog, Lady is 5.

5)I come when I am called. I could be anywhere in the house and if Daddy calls my name I come running!

6)Every time someone is in the kitchen or opens the fridge door or uses a can opener I come running.

7)I greet mommy every single morning with a good morning meow and follow her around the house until she feeds me (even if someone else just fed me).

Good Morning Mommy!!!!

Mommy has to start work a half hour earlier now (I don't understand why she likes washing and brushing dogs all day anyways) and she didn't want to wake up this morning when her alarm went off. Being the helpful kitty that I am, I yelled the loudest I could and gave her heck for not being up (the alarm going off means breakfast for me, you know). She heard me and got out of bed, where I weaved in and out from between her legs and -she almost tripped over me (I call it an early morning excerise routine for her, she calls it being pushy). I got my breakfast and she was on time to see all the dogs. I should get a treat for that....
