Arrival Story:
Mao Mao just came to me this past week. He is another rescue from the apartment complex where I live. I had been feeding him for a couple of weeks. He mainly lived in back of the building in the woods. But he found is way around to the front and I was terrified that he was going to get hit. He is a wonderful little guy with a sweet disposition. I nicknamed him Fearless because he doesn't seem to be afraid of anything well except for maybe..........Sydney and her temper.

The Life of a kitten named Mao Mao

My new playmates

Me, my big sister Sasha and Mom had to move in with my Aunt Michele a couple of weeks ago. Well Aunt Michele has her own cats one of which is getting into it with Sasha over who is the "Goddess Supreme" of the house. They have already fought about it a couple of times and let me tell you my sis isn't going to give up the title without a fight. Well anyway, back to me and my new playmates. Aunt Shele also has two 3 month-old kittens named Murphy and Bud. ( Bud is named after one of my Mom's late cats) I didn't know what to make of them at first and they felt the same about me but in the past couple of days we have become playmates. I'm a few months past a year old but I still play like a kitten. Mom brought all of my toys with us and I had to give up my pirate ship because we couldn't fit it into the bedroom with all of Mom's things plus Sasha's condo. So now my pirate ship is in the kitchen and the kids play on it. Yesterday they discovered my stash of toys in the bedroom and they are now coming in here to play with them and also me. I'm having great fun running through the house and chasing Bud and Murph. I'm including a pic of me and Bud on my page.

Mao Mao had his first run-in a with a little boy that I babysit from time to time. I don't have any children so he isn't normally around kids. Joey spent the day with me yesterday. I picked him up after I had left home so Mao Mao did not know what was coming his way later in the day. Joey and I returned to my place around 6:30 in the evening. Joey went in ahead of me and the first cat that saw him was Sasha so she made an immediate exit from the room. She had been around Joey many times so she knew what he was like. Well, then Joey saw Mao Mao but unfortunately he had the same reaction to Joey. Mao Mao followed Sasha. Then after a few minutes Joey picked up the tiger tail on a stick and Mao Mao slowly came out of hiding. Before I knew it both boys were playing together. Joey was running with the tiger tail trailing behind him which made for great play. Mao Mao was right on his tail. They must have run back and forth for about a half an hour. After Joey's mother picked him up I fed my babies. Needless to say that between the playing with Joey and full tummy Mao Mao slept for the rest of the evening.
