Thanksgiving Treats

Rainbow Bridge @ 16 1/2

My owners dumped me when they moved, but I had been sneaking over to the neighbors a lot cuz they are nice to me, feed me & give me lots of attention, so I think I'll stay. I get scared easily and don't like camera flashes or loud noises. I went to the vet to get fixed & that was all, except in home vet service for vaccinations.
Nothing golden about getting older, what a cruel joke. February 2010, WOW I'm 16 1/2. I feel aches in my joints, so I spend more time indoors, but Meommy lets me in & out in the back yard as I wish during the day. Late November I started rapidly showing signs of arthritis and lessened activity. Meommy & Daddy pamper me lots more with treats & love. Week of December 1, 2010 I caught a bad cold and I disgressed day by day. Friday December 10, 2010 I felt miserable, appetite was low and Meommy talked with me about Rainbow Bridge. The vet is here, Daddy is holding me and I feel very tired. I'll just close my eyes for a cat nap cuz I don't hurt anymore. All of a sudden like a flash I am running through the grass chasing my brothers & sisters, which is a little weird cuz I haven't seen them in a long time. I can't see Meommy & Daddy anymore, I can hear them telling me to run and play, they will meet up with me later. One last thought about my wonderful life with Meommy & Daddy and now I only feel sunshine, no pain. I smell tuna, so I'm going to try to get there first! Want to race Maxi?
Note from Meommy, "Saturday 9:20 a.m Wedge went over Rainbow Bridge. He is buried in his favorite sunning spot with his blanky. We did the kind thing and let him go. We love him enough to let him go and not keep him here for us."

Mommy bought me a new sweater:( I saw Dad coming and I backed away. Dad is smart enough to know not to force me to put on a girly sweater.
Basking in the sun after lapping up the warm milk we got;)

I love the holidays!

We always get turkey treats on holidays and I love it;)
Mom & Dad tried to get a fleece sweater on me, but I feel constricted, no thanks.
Purrs...............I'm off to nap off the turkey.
