Arrival Story:
Georgie stole my heart the first time I saw his photo at the no kill cat shelter. We knew Georgie had physical problems an insensitive human placed upon him, but we wanted Georgie to know unconditional love & safety, so he came home with us. For all his disabilities, Georgie more than made up for them with the love he so generously gave. Georgie's spine was compacted, which atrophied his pelvic muscles, his tail had been chopped off, he limped/hopped like a rabbit. Georgie was a rambunctious kitty that appeared perfectly normal when running about, playing. Georgie was a happy boy the 27 days he lived with us. Georgie knew unconditional love, knew this was his home & knew I was mom. Georgie was a sweet little boy. Georgie played for a long time with Gidge before he went to sleep on the carpet behind my recliner. At 12:15 p.m. I heard a strange muted noise & he didn't respond to my calls like usual. John came home & asked where Georgie was and I told him I heard him behind my chair. Our precious little Georgie was gone to heaven. We are heartbroken, but thankful God gave us Georgie for 27 days. We are richer for having Georgie in our lives. Georgie is buried in a special section of the pet cemetery with his teddy bear and blanky. Georgie will meet up with our other dear furry family & await our return, never to be parted again. 27 days of pure joy in our hearts. We love you Georgie!

Bio:
We despise people that hurt kitties! Georgie was unable to control his bowels due to the damage, so we used baby wipes to help him when Gidget didn't clean him up before we could.Gidget took care of Georgie;)
