Arrival Story:
there's a Petco by my doctor's office, so of course any time I went to see my doctor, I wandered over to the Petco to chat with the kitties, and to tell them that soon a new mommie would come, etc., etc., etc. Well, one day, Sweet Pea (his name was Joey at the time) just looked at me, and BAM! I knew it right then that we HAD to adopt him. We put in the application, and I always wanted two, but Narda wanted one. I kept telling her that we had to have two, but when we finally came in to pick Sweet Pea up, (a few days later) the person who was working the cats that day convinced Narda that we HAD to have Quincy too, and I'm so glad she did!

Bio:
Sweet Pea started getting sick a few weeks ago, and we thought it was just the other cats intimidating him into not eating. It turns out he was diagnosed last night with F.I.P (Feline Infectous Peritonitous) and will have to be put to sleep on Friday, September 17th, 2004. I miss him already, and he, quite honestly, was my favorite of the four cats. he was the first one we picked out at the rescue group, and we love all of the others, but he's our "Sweet Pea Pea Sweet" and my heart is breaking for him and for us. he had such a short time on this planet, I hope he goes to a much much better place, where there are lots of treats, and lots of chin rubs.

I've Been On Catster Since:
