Wild weather for us cats

My mommy isn't going to work today and the schools are closed so that mean all my human family will be home today, meow how fur fun that is. The howling winds are gusting up to 60 mph and I heard mommy say we are going to get snow so we will have white outs. Tinkerbell and me are sitting on the window ledge watching the big tree branches swaying and the snow starting to fall. We are worried that the power might go out and us cats will have to keep our family warm. I am happy we are indoor kitties because I wouldn't want to get blown away or get stuck somewhere and lose my family. This will be a fun day for all of us as long as the lights stay on MOL.

Tinkerbell and Tabby

Nippy on the catnip

This morning me and my sisfur Tabby woke up my mommy because we had too much catnip the night before, we was running up and down the stairs and meowing at each other and my mommy got up from her sleep to see what all the noise was. Sometimes me and my sisfur snarl at each other too but we really love each other. I saw mommy at the top of the stairs looking at us cats and she had her arms crossed like she was mad. We scampered into the kitchen to get some food and water and then slept on the sofa downstairs after that. phew, I'm beat now with all this running around and leaping into the closets for more pawing at all the rolled up wrapping paper mommy keeps in there, nap time.

Happy New Year

My mommy took down the big tree, we miss it because we were used to hanging out and napping underneath it with all the pretty twinkling lights, made us cats dizzy but stayed warm. I see my humans walking around here with a cloth wiping things down, cleaning house. Must be time to start a new year now. We gots toys for Christmas, new balls with bells in them, me and Tabby love to chase them around the house, I got a catnip pillow, makes me crazy but I love it. Now we'll have to stay warm on the sofa again with the big blanket and on my mommy's bed too.

Christmas Eve

Tabby my sister noticed some new presents under the tree, mommy said if we're good we'll get to open them on Christmas morning. I can't wait, so excited now. We are sitting on the window ledge watching the big snow storm come down, the big branches on the trees swaying back and forth and the snow swirling around in the air. My mommy is having a something out of a cup now, she always makes this brew in the morning and pours it into a cup, I don't like the smell of it but she really likes it. I watch it pour into this big contraption on the kitchen counter, mommy adds water to it and then it drips out into the contraption. When it is done, she gets her cup and pours whatever it is into the cup and drinks it. I hear her sometimes say to the other humans in the house that the coffee is on. MOL I don't want any. Well I think I'll take a nap under the big pretty tree in the livingroom. Tinkerbell

Time for Bed

Phew, us cats are tired now, busy chasing each other around the big tree with all the lights blinking off and on. We ate our dinner and mommy taped up some more cards from our fur friends, so pretty we love them. My mommy is tired from work today, we miss her and the human kids are busy with homwork from school. Tabby is sleeping under the big tree right now and I am waiting for mommy to go to bed and I will sleep on the big bed and purr by her shoulder. Nite to all. meow Tinkie

Waiting for the big snow storm

My humans are preparing for he big snow storm coming Sat eve and we are getting hit with more than a foot of snow and high winds. My mommy had to go out and get the groceries early to beat all the traffic and the long lines at the store. Me and Tabby will hang out by the window in the livingroom and watch the trees branches sway back and forth and the snow fall and how the wind makes the snowflakes swirl around and go backwards, make me dizzy. Maybe I get to watch my human kids play in the snow Sunday from the window. Hope the storm won't put the power out, we'll all be in the dark then, us cats can see in the dark but my family humans can't. Have to keep our paws crossed it won't be too bad.

Christmas Fun

Mommy put up this real big funny looking tree right in the middle of the livingroom with brightly colored lights flashing on and off, make us cats dizzy but we have been running circles round and round the tree. Tinkerbell pawed at a toy teddy on the bottom of the tree and I like to watch it sway back and forth. We are not allowed to climb the tree, we tried once and we were told not to climb it. Got some snow and I sit by the window and watch it fall from the sky and watch the trees sway back and forth, so happy I don't have to go outside in it but worry about my mommy going out in it. Today will be a good day as usual just hanging around the big tree, I guess mommy has to write up some cards to mail out.

Helped out mommy today

Mommy had a headache today so I took a nap next to her and did some purring near her shoulder, I think it helped her headache. My sister Tabby decided to nap underneath the bottom kitchen cupboard so all was quiet this morning. We are good kitties. Now we are hanging around watching the rain fall from the sky but I heard it might turn over to snow, I don't mind as long as I get to stay indoors.

Time for a quick drink from the faucet

My human just caught me drinking from the bathtub faucet, I prefer playing with the drips instead of licking my water from the bowl. Me and Tinkerbell take turns jumping up on the bathtub ledge. This is the time to play anyway, the night is still young.

Cats had the crazies today

Tabby was in the spare bedroom closet where I keep wrapping paper in the back of the closet behind the clothes. She kept pawing at the rolls of paper for about 15 minutes. Then after she walked out of the closet she started running from room to room and then Tinkerbell joined in. Two crazy cats I must say but love them. I can't wait to get a new camera and start taking some new pics of the kitties.
