Actually, Jane picked me. I was at the house of a member of Friends of Animals, looking for two kittens. I sat down on the woman's bed in the room with all the cats. Jane, who had been abandoned by her previous owner, immediately jumped up on the bed, curled up next to my leg, and promptly went to sleep. I figured this was a match made in heaven.
Bio:
Jane is an odd little kitty. The only people she really likes are me and the vet. (I know, why the vet? Like I said, she's odd.) She hides from nearly everyone else, although she has finally gotten used to my parents, since they have been visiting fairly often lately. Despite being afraid of nearly every other human being in the world, Jane is not the least bit afraid of her housemate, Emma, or of dogs. She tries to boss Emma around, slapping her when Emma has the temerity to ignore the orders (which is regularly). However, with me she is a veritable sweetheart. Very placid, content, and loving.
