Arrival Story:
I had had my Sneakers for 17 years when I had to put him down. I wasn't going to get another kitty but Baxter was sort of lonely so I went to a friend of my mothers who had rescued feral cats for adoption. Chloe sat on my lap for the entire time I was there so I took her.
Bio:
For two years, Chloe was very nasty, hissing at everyone but me. She hid under the bed almost always and was stand-offish at best. Although my husband was really annoyed with her hostility towards him, we kept her because I couldn't see anyone else having patience with her. Besides, she is one of the most beautiful kitties and so soft and has a really great purr. She also got along with Baxter really well. After we had Dante for a few months, she suddenly one morning decided she was going to like my husband and now has turned into a friendly, petable cat although she doesn't like to be picked up which we respect. She even sleeps on the bed and sits on the couch with us.

A laundry basket appeared the other day. It's the old fashioned wicker kind and it makes a great new sleeping spot. I have been fighting over it with Dante and Baxter who also like to sleep there.
I've stopped eating the plant. Every time I try, I get yelled at so I've given up.

I am so looking forward to Halloween. It's my day. Not only was I born near Halloween, as a black cat, it's sort of my unofficial holiday. I don't even need a costume to look spooky. In preparation, I will practice arching my back for 30 minutes today.

I'm learning to sleep on the foot of the bed. This mean they'll need to get a larger bed. Baxter is so fat, there isn't room for all of us.
I sat next to the baby for an entire five minutes. I'm trying to be nice. Mom gets so happy when I'm nice to the baby and I get lots of pets.
Two days ago, we got tuna, two meals in a row. I was ecstatic! I have a feeling the new cat food is diet but I'm not sure.
