9/1/04 UPDATE: CHOW IS STILL AT THE SHELTER : ( ................
We just saw this little guy Tuesday night 8/24 at the animal shelter and it broke our hearts to leave him there, but we're maxed out at 4 cats. We had seen his pic on the web and had a feeling he was related to our Diva - turns out he is her brother (has CFA papers with details)......Right now he is matted, shaved in a semi lion cut and his right eye is squinty but I'm sure he will be a stunning Silver Tabby boy. We played with him and he sat on my lap purring until I put him on the floor. Then he went over to the cat condo and lept on top for us to admire and pet him. He seems well adjusted and curious and I'm sure would make a wonderful addition to someone's family....... The shelter says he's 4 years old, good with cats, not sure about dogs and the reason for him being there, "a new baby in the house". Just so you know, he may have polycystic kidney disease since Diva does and it's heriditary; but he may not. She's doing great on K/D food and you wouldn't know it. If he's anything like Diva he's a gem, take a peek at her page.......
