Thursday's the day....

Well, they removed it (it being the growth on my cheek) and I was such a good boy. They didn't even put me under! Can you believe that? They numbed it and took it right off!

The biopsy results came back yesterday, and 'it' is a low grade melanoma, cancer in my cheek. Mommy was shocked, so was the doctor.
I gotz to go back to the sPAW on Thursday to make sure that they got ALL of the growth - I fink this time they are going to put me under and cut under the skin.

Madi is going wif me too, cuz her butt isn't good again, so maybe we can hang out at the sPAW together. I fink I will like it if my big sisfur Madi is wif me when I wake up.

I am scared but Mommy sayz I am such a good brave boy. I ate her hair this morning, like I do every morning, then sat on her lap while she pottied and ate the toilet paper.

I love my Mommy, a WHOLE lot - and I can't wait till I get home so I can pway wif Zoey. I will miss Zoey. I am sad because tomorrrow is my wife's birthday, and now she is sad cuz I am sick.
But I tell her, Sugar Bear, it ain't no thing, I will be all better soon. I sorry if I ruined your special day. I love you Sugar Bear, and I love all my furriends. Thank you fur your nevfur ending support.

Off to the sPAW

Madi always talks of a place called the sPAW where they pamper her and take really good care of her - Well, Mommy told me it is MY time tomorrow! I don't know if I should be catcited or scared....I have this lump on my cheek that has more than doubled in the past couple of months so Mommy is very worried and quite certain that it will have to be removed....unless it is filled with fluid that is, I guess fluid would be a good thing? I just don't get these things, but I will trust in Mommy and the sPAW!

A special day!

Furst of all, THANK YOU HQ fur making MEow a DDP, what an honor, the furst special honor I have had on Catster, and I am THRILLED!

It beez MY day to shine! You see, my sisfur Madi has been furry sick, so she has gotten most of the attention lately. I don't mind one single bit though cuz I love her furry much and want her to get better.

As you can all tell, from my last diary, I love my wife furry much, tee hee! Her name beez PIE, and she is truly the light of my life!

I would like to ask that my furriends purr fur my sisfur-in-law, ODIE - She has a furry bad urinary tract infection, and will be making her way back to the sPAW today fur more antibiotics. I know she will be fine, but I thinkz that it hurtz her to potty. Bear loves her furry much, and so do I, so let's send her a little love today!

I heardz that there beez a new business on Catster, something like...Cootie Busters? My little furriend QUINN is the owner/operator, so all you luv purrs out there, WATCH OUT! He got Pie and I the other day with his icky cootie spray!!!! Here's to BUSTING Cootie Busters, tee hee!!!!!

Mojo, who definitely has MOJO!

Cleaning day??? What the??? And back to the vet??? WHAT- the???

Mommy woke up and first thing this morning she started working all around the house. She didn't pay as much attention to me as I like, so I followed her around! I even climbed her legs a couple of times and said MEOWMMY, what about ME?? One of the first things she had to clean up was the mess I made this morning! ***giggle giggle*** We have a basket filled with about 100 kitty toys, just for us! Mommy only keeps like 8 out at a time and rotates them. I decided I wanted to play with ALL of them at ONCE!!! Woohoo! It was sooooo much fun! Mommy was sleeping when I did this, but she had an idea of what I was doing. She must have heard all the jingle balls and such. She didn't even stop me though because she thinks I am simply adorable! She wants me to have as much fun as I can while I am still a baby!! Now Madi is trying to take toys out of the basket, right this very instant!! Hahahaha Mommy, look what I taught Madi how to do!!! This will certainly be a fun game to play with Mommy!

Anyway, then Mommy continued cleaning throughout the day....I was okay with the whole thing (except for it wasn't all about me) UNTIL she got out that huge, scary, loud vacuum!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!! HIDE and DON'T EVER come OUT!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! What the heck was that stupid thing supposed to be doing anyway?? Mommy says "Mojo, we have to vacuum because you kitties shed your fur on Mommy's floor" - And I say "So what???? Once you finish vacuuming, I plan to shed some more fur on your precious floor, so why bother Mommy"??? Mommy says "Oh Mojo, so young but so wise" - Mojo giggles!!!

Mommy told me that we have to go back to the doctor tomorrow, so another road trip for me! Mommy says that I really won't like this one because I have to stay over night for two whole nights, all by myself!! Without my Mommy or my Madi or my Big Bubba Bear. WHY MOMMMY??? Please don't leave me??? What did I do wrong this time??? Oh and Mommy says "I am so sorry Mojo, but you have very dangerous claws on your front feet - and you are hurting Mommy and Madi and it is unfair that you have front claws and they don't" And I say "So what does that mean" - Mommy says "I am so sorry little Mojo and I love you sooo very much, but you will not have your front claws when you come home on Sunday little guy". Mommy has a tear in her eye. So, I say "What are they going to do to my claws Mommy" - and Mommy says "Well little Mojo, they are going to get rid of them!!" WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN MOMMY????? Oh, and she says "Poor Mojo, but Mommy loves you". UGH. Well phooey. That simply sounds like no fun at all. Mommy says I will heal very quickly - so we shall see. She also promised me lots of good pain medicine to help me feel better. So, I guess her mind is made up. Tomorrow is the day. I will be brave Mommy. I will try not to miss you soooo much and know that you will come for me on Sunday.

I suppose I should get some rest now before my big day tomorrow.

Road Trip

Mommy and I went on a road trip this morning! She put me in my carrier, and I was so very scared that she was going to leave me somewhere. I didn't want Mommy to leave me because I love her so much, but I thought maybe I had done something wrong, so Mommy was going to get rid of me. Turns out, we went to the doctor!

My doctor was a lovely lady, and she was sooooooo very sweet to me! She really took good care of me and it was actually kindof fun....that is UNTIL she stuck me with TWO needles!!!! WHAT ON EARTH would she do that for?? We were having such a good time, and she had to go and ruin it. Everyone was petting me and I was purring and playing and they kept telling me how adorable I am and then WHAM! STUCK with TWO needles. What the?? I just couldn't believe it. I still can't believe that they did that to me. It has happened two times before in my life, and I will NEVER understand it. So, then Mommy brought me home - She said "Good Mojo!! That was your last distemper and rabies vaccinations! I am so proud of you!!" What the heck are vaccinations anyway?? Whatever Mommy is talking about, she must be crazy.

Now I am soooo very sleepy and my shoulder hurts really bad where they poked me with the needle. OUCH. Anytime Mommy touches it I cry and I won't even let Mommy hold me because my shoulder hurts so bad! DUH!! Like if you were stuck with a needle, would you want people touching you?? Humans can be so silly, especially my Mommy. I have slept the afternoon away, and now it is nap time again! I am just soooo sleepy today!

Mommy told me that my real age is closer to 4 months than 3 like they originally thought. Well, I could have told her that! AND, I already have 8 of my adult teeth! I am growing up! Mommy says I am such a handsome boy! I already weigh almost 5 pounds too!

Anyway, must go take a catnap. Very sleepy now.....goodnight!

I just LOVE my new home!

Ohhhhh, what a wonderful life I have! I cannot believe I was so fortunate to have my Mommy and Daddy adopt me and treat me sooooo good! I just love it here, especially by big sister Madi! Life is good!

Last night, Mommy and Daddy had a fire in the fireplace. I wasn't even scared! I kindof liked it actually! I jumped up on the marble and sat there watching the pretty flames! It was soooo cool!

I am starting to fall into the normal routine around the house too, which makes Mommy happy! I have never once had an accident in the house and I never will I don't think! I love to play with Madi in the morning, and she loves to play with me too! We have soooo much fun together, and we are already best furriends!

Last night Mommy was on the phone in her bedroom. I climbed my way to the top of the big huge bed and snuggled Mommy while she talked. Then Daddy and Mommy went to bed and I stayed put with them! Bear likes to sleep by Mommy's head, so that is his territory - He told me "Off limits to you little guy" - I have learned to respect Bear (maybe it is fear) so I won't lay there. But Mommy holds Madi like a baby every night and snuggles her to sleep so I decided to climb on top of Madi in lay in Mommy's arms too! Madi didn't even mind, in fact she wrapped her paws around me to cuddle me too! What a sight we must have been! Mommy almost woke Daddy up to have him get the camera, but she figured that was probably not such a good idea! Smart Mommy she is....

It is a very windy cold fall day here, so nappy time it is!

2nd day home

Today is November 4th and it is my second day home! Mommy adopted me from my foster Mommy who rescued me from death row at the pound. I just love my new Mommy and Daddy and human Brother and my Madi! She has been so very good to me! We love to cuddle and play together! I love her so much and she has been so welcoming! Bear on the other hand hates me for some reason. It hurts my feelings, and I don't understand why. I really don't think I have done anything to him, but he just hisses and growls at me. He doesn't seem very nice. Mommy keeps saying that he will get used to me. I trust Mommy so I will just take her word for it!!!

I absolutely love my new home and family!!!! This Catster thing is pretty cool too! Mommy has introduced me to this thing called a camera and she keeps taking soooo many pictures!!! Doesn't she realize it hurts my eyes???

Well, time to nap - then play - then nap - then play! I LOVE my new life!!!!
