In the sun, under the covers, cuddled againstet anyones feet, in a cave of warm laundry, or anywhere we may sit on her by accident.

Tuna, human food, and cat treats.

She has the special skill of standing like a meerkat, opening doors, converse with people with various meows, and climbing onto your shoulder when you least expect it (Ouch!).

Arrival Story:
A lady who was a good friend of ours passed away, and we had promised to take care of her beloved cat for her before she had passed. The transition was extremely hard for Isis, because Isis was a service cat. The woman who owned Isis before had some mental disablities, and would always be calmer when with Isis. So Isis went everywhere with the woman. The first few days Isis stayed in the laundry room so that she could adjust. Then she started to explore. At first she was very scared of her surroundings and would glue herself to my hip, and followed me everywhere I went. Then she eventually calmed down and started to explore a little.

Bio:
Isis would hide in a closet for a whole day if she got spooked when we first got her. Her previous owner believed that Isis was an Egyptian goddess who was reincarnated into a cat (hence the name). So whenever Isis had to be left home in her old home, the TV was on, or there was a bowl of cereal waiting for her on the table if she ever got hungry (yes...cereal). So Isis had some habits to get out of...such as jumping onto the table and attempt to eat your food in three seconds, or just sit down on the table and eat your food from your plate the minute your back was turned. Isis soon started to pee on everything and everywhere. We spent thousands of dollars for her damages. We took her to the vet and she had a tiny bladder infection, and so we gave her medication which made her sick. The vet said that she would stop urinating all over the place if she was in a new enviroment. Sadly, we had to put her through an adoption agency, but she soon found a new home in a nursing home. So now she gets to carry out her duties as a service cat once more with lots of old people...just the way she likes it. Oh, and she has stopped peeing crazily in her new home and only goes in her box, and she is a definate favorite of all of the senior citizens.
