Arrival Story: My best friend's roommates decided to foster TJ, who was abandoned by his feral mother, until he was old enough to go to a no-kill shelter. The shelter didn't have any room, however, and they weren't prepared to keep him much longer, so I adopted him before they took him to the local humane society - where most kittens are put down. It was tough for a few months, when he was infected with ringworm and gave that to our two dogs, and then after we let him out of quarantine (for the ringworm) he seemed intent on destroying everything and endangering himself. However, he's growing into quite a nice cat - with a lot of personality - that my husband and I wouldn't trade for anything.

I found out about this through a friend of mine. A 12 year old yellow Lab/Sharpei mix weighing about 80 pounds was lost in Waco, TX on the Baylor campus early this afternoon. Due to the freezing weather and ice/rain mix that is now falling, it is becoming critical that we find him, if he has not already been picked up by someone. If you live in this area or know someone who does, PLEASE keep an eye out for him!! He is very sweet and answers to the name Hendrix, and has a collar on with that name. He just recently underwent surgery so part of the hair is shaved off of his neck. Thank you so much for your help!!! I will keep you updated!
A picture is posted on Faith's profile - please go take a look!!
