Health junk

Well meowmy had to drag my furry butt into the vet on Monday - and it turns out I've got a nasty UTI with Struvite crystals! ugh! However they gave her these antibiotics which I think are already starting to slowly help - I've used the actual litter box again instead of avoiding it at all cost. She also has all these interesting dry & wet food samples that I've been trying, some of which I actually really like - so looks like my diet is changing - permanently!

Hopefully soon I can be back to my normal self & meowmy can finally relax, because I know she frets over us cats something awful!!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes & prezzies! It means so much to me that folks remember & send me love!! :) So far it's been a great day - I look fwd to my special dinner meowmy promised me tonight!

2 years

Well, Tomorrow (May 13th) it will be Two years since meowmy's Grandma passed on to Heaven. GMA had a huge role in meowms growing up and upbringing. I also loved GMA very much, she was so kind to me and thought I was the cutest lil kitty!!! I am gonna have to give meowm extra purrs and snuggles tomorrow, cause I'm pretty sure she's gonna have a tough day. I think I'll cuddle with her Mom extra too - since GMA was her mom....boy I'm gonna have alot of PURRING to do!!!

There is nothing so special as a meowmy, and Grand-Meowmys are really important too - they spoil ya as much as they would a human grandkid I think :-D At least my grandmeowm did!

My Daddy

Oh Thank Meow, my Daddy is home! He went into the hospital on Tuesday, with severe abdominal pain, at first they suspected the appendix, but turns out it was not that. They are leaning toward an auto immune disorder that inflames the GI tract. Thankfully its treatable/manageable. We were so worried and missed Daddy so much. He came home yesterday -- we all greeted him!!! Mom is also very relieved! She has been sick with worry all week. We are all a happy furmily again, safe and sound at home!!!! Mom hasnt been on much this wk... so finally she thought she'd better get on and have me update everyfur on whats been going on! MOL!

1st annifursary

Well my loving Maynard and I celebrated our 1st wedding annifursary on Feb 22nd ;) I have been so blessed to be his Queen and he my Tom cat ;) Though he is now an angel kitty, he's always by my side and loves me more deeply each day! He even fluttered down on our annifursary and gave me kitty smootchies! We've been through all sorts of things over the time we've been together and it's just made us stronger and more in love!

The loss of a furiend

Well today was kinda rough at the end... I started out fairly ok, and still am SOOO purroud of my brofur Brutus for winning 2nd place in a cool Adoption story contest... but this afternoon we had a loss... My dear furiend Tasha, a sweet Himalayan who was about 15 yrs old passed away.
We had been feeding her for years now - she was sorta the neighbors cat, but when his mom (the main owner) had passed away a while back, she started coming over to us alot more. She enjoyed Grandmeowmys company, and snacked on the food we had out. Then we just sorta kept loving her and feeding her. Our neighbor was ok with the arrangement, as we were doing a great job, and Tasha still visited him now and again MOL!
Tasha slept outside (unlike all of us indoor folks) but meowmy had a bed out there for her, and Grandpa bought a heated bed for her even! They fed her wonderful food, and gave her lots of love. Over the holidays Tasha started having labored breathing, but was starting to improve. This morning the bug spray man came again, and we think Tasha's weaker system plus exposure to the spray caused her to have a horrible reaction. When meowmy got home after work, Tasha was breathing poorly again, drooling some, and very restless. Mom stayed by her side trying to comfort her. She knew the end was coming, so she refused to leave Tasha's side. Finally around 5:30pm Tasha layed down and let the angels take her to the Lord. After mom told our neighbor, we decided to place her to rest with many of our other sweet furs who've gone before, in a special area in our back yard.
Please say a prayer for her to find peace and comfort in the Lap of God, and for meowmy to feel better -- She is taking this kind of hard.

Gosh I love grass

If my videos would ever "encode" here on my page, you'd all get to see how much I love a good grass chewing! I just enjoy getting all low to the ground and nibbling the grass -- like a lil lawn mower! Now meowmy won't let me over do it - she doesn't want me getting a tummy ache, but I'd sit out there furever if she'd let me. Though I spend most of my time as an indoor kitty - those lil walks on my leash to chomp grass are just so enthralling! If you haven't tried it before - it's a superb experience! Though be careful with your tummys, the type of grass, and all that ;) So far, I've enjoyed and benefitted from my nibbles, seems to keep my pipes clear ;-D

My Loss

This weekend my dear sweet love, my husband-cat, Maynard crossed to the Bridge. I am deeply saddend by his passingl, but comforted in knowing he is always going to be watching over me and loving me from the lap of God. He is always my hubby and always my love - just with beautiful wings now.

I love you Maynard - I am glad you no longer are suffering.

You are my sunshine :)

The Big Day

Well everyfur - today is the big day!! Maynard and I will be walking down the isle!!!! We are so very excited!!!!! It is a blessing to have found such a loving, devoted, caring, supportive, purrrfect feline to share my days with! He is truly a blessing from above!
