Arrival Story:
Sunny Girl is our very first kitty and my husband picked her out at the Humane Society. She was an extremely outgoing and lovey half grown cat with huge sad eye's in an under weight frame. She came home with us and was the model cat for about 3 days, the forth day we woke up to a different cat. She is nothing like the cat we brought home, she's almost a recluse, preferring my oldest son and his room to any other member of the family. When he moved out a year ago she transfered her affections to my 3rd son. She is sweet though, preferring to be with the boys and observing from her quiet corner. She is delicate and very lady- like. We should have called her Princess!
Bio:
I named her sunny because I needed a ray of sunshine at the time and she shone above all the others, if that's possible!
We have a deaf Boston Terrier that we brought home at 6 weeks old. Sunny walked up to her, sniffed her and then began licking her ears inside & out and continued each day. Sunny knew our puppy was deaf before we did! She still treats her different today! Our girl is a one cat in the home girl, she hates other cats. Shadow our other cat, she barely tolerated. We lost him 3 weeks ago but Sunny would hiss at him in passing until the day he died. She is starting to resume her former self sense the events of 3 weeks ago. I wake up most mornings with Sunny staring me in the face, Go figure!
