Mama human Angela Mama said on her way out this morning that we've been fighting a lot lately and arguing and chasing each other and squabbling and it's gotten bad especially when Mommy Lucy cat Mommy went SWIPE and Torii said OUCH and Bertie said It looks like there's a piece of Torii on the floor here (it was just fur.) So she said (Mama human Mama did) she said I want you kitties to say nice things to each other today. Every one of you has to say something nice to everyone else and take turns and keep going and don't repeat yourself.
So Gilda went first because she is the oldest. She said Torii, and she thought really long and hard and long and thoughtfully and then she said Torii, you usually let me keep my bed and don't take my food that much. Then she said Lucy you're the one I really like talking to, and she said Bertie, you're a gentleman, and Pippi, you are so cute.
Then Torii said Gilda you have a black tail and black spots so I feel a little bit like you must not be all bad, and Bertie, you know I love you buddy, you're awesome, and Lucy, you said you were sorry after you clawed me, and Pippi, you're cute. What, someone already said that? OK, you are also funny.
Then Bertie said Gilda you have a regal presence and she looked very happy and proud. He said Torii, you are a party animal and make life fun. He said Lucy, you inspire me. She got a little wet-eyed by that. And he said Pippi, you are just like your mother, which she meant Lucy, and that was the nicest thing anybody ever said to me.
Then Lucy said Gilda, you are my big sister and you let me eat your food and Gilda started to say well, I don't let you exactly, but Lucy had moved on to Torii. She said Torii when you aren't hissy and mean you are a big cuddler and I love cuddling with you. She said Bertie, what can I say Bertie, you are the noblest of tabby cats and a credit to our breed. She said Pippi, you are my baby and always will be and I love you.
So it was my turn and I said Gilda, your tail is fun to play with. Torii, you told me about your mouse and that was a great story. Mommy, you take care of me and I love you. And Bertie, I said, you are so nice I just know you will help me blog about this!
He did and that's why there's hardly anything spelled wrong today.
Love,
Pippi
