My husband found Sassy and her brother, Beau, in a sopping wet cardboard box in the middle of a vacant lot. It had rained heavily an hour earlier and they were soaked as well as very small and very hungry. He brought them home and we began bottle feeding them. We discussed taking them to the Humane Society after they were weaned but it only took a couple of days before we realized they had already found their fur-ever home.
