i had been at the pound looking for a cat, and right as i was leaving, a lady brought in a box filled with kittens. they were absolutely adorable, and the tech told me that if i wanted one, i could take him without all the paperwork if i wanted one *at that moment*. i had fallen in love with a cute little girl kitten, but wasn't sure if i wanted her, so i begrudgingly put her into the cage at the pound...and she ran right away from me. at that second, a silly looking, tiny little boy ran right for me, meowing, and instantly clung to me when i picked him up. so yeah, micio kinda chose me :)
