Arrival Story:
Flip was adopted from the Bethany CT kill shelter as a 2 year old. We were meant to be. She really is my best friend. I met her but really wanted a ca so I traveled back to NY and thought about her for a week. I called the shelter every day to see if she was still available. After a week, I was told she was being brough to a pet store to try and be adopted. I raced there, literally and took her home.
