Arrival Story:
He was born on a horse farm with lots of brothers and sisters. I answered the ad in the paper and brought him home. And with a cute face like his how could I have not brought him home!
Bio:
On 8/30/07 - Storm has been diagnosised with Liver Disease. He hasn't been eating on his own and I have had to force feed with a syringe. He has had an ultrasound and liver aspirations on 9/11/07, so we are awaiting the specific condition results. He is maintaining his weight well on the little bit of food he is taking in, but has still lost alot of weight until this point. He has dropped to 9.5 pounds from 15. He is a fighter and I am hopeful for him.
**UPDATE: 9/15/07 - Diagnosis has come back as Fatty Liver Syndrome, and recovery is possible with forced nutrition until he will eat on his own. It may be a long road, but recovery with proper care is 90% possible. He hasn't lost anymore weight as of today, and may have acutally gained alittle. Tomorrow's weigh in should tell.
