Thank you for tagging me Alfie. Here goes:-

1. Do you have a valentine?
Nope. No boys have ever asked, is it because I have two brothers (and Clive is so huge?)

2. If not, do you wish you did? Is there anyone particular? Or would you rather be single? Why?
I've never really thought about it much.

3. What's your favorite love song? Who sings it?
Mom sings my name to the Winnie the Pooh song (Chessie the Wess....) that means she loves me right?

Upping my dose- my anemia update

Last week I went in for my post holiday CBC check and my nutricell (neutrophils?) anyway, part of my white blood cell count is still low, it was low pre-holiday time as well but the vet wanted to give me some time on what may have been my maintenance level of predinsolone. So I'm upping my dose back to 1/2 a pill everyother day rather than 1/4 of a pill everyother day.

I'm eating and playing like a kitten so I"m feeling ok but mom is worried I am slipping down the rabbit hole (that's what she calls it) again. Hopefully this higher dose can keep my immune disease at bay.

Stepping down

I went to the vet for another CBC test on Thursday morning and when they called us back that afternoon there was progress. I'm stepping down to a half a presdisolone every other day. In two weeks I go back for another blood test and exam and then we will decide if this is the drug I stay on forever or go to another drug (Mom can't remember it's name). With immune diseases like what caused my anemia I will have to look towards lifetime treatment.

Mom says this is fine because she is just happy to see me doing good and playing chase with Clive and Sinbad.
