Did I ever tell you that I hate to be brushed?

I mean really hate it!! Mom has tried every kind of brush imaginable from the slicker to a soft bristle brush, to the Furminator and I hate them all! I growl, I hiss, I bite, and I scratch. Mom says the only other choice is to get shaved and man o man I can't do that. So she tries to do it a little at a time so I don't get too upset. Sometimes that works. Other times, like today when she thinks she's smart and gives me a pawdicure first so I can't draw blood, I bite her leg.

Good thing she loves me so much huh, cos I'm kind of a boy diva.

I'm so excited. Mom gave me a bunch of ice cubes to celebrate. I love cubes, especially when she crunches them up for me into tiny bits. Yum!

Wanna freak us cats out? There's an app for that!

So Friday we think a new kitty was in the house, it kept meowing and meowing and seemed to come from this flat thing on the floor.

No matter what we did we couldn't figure out where the kitty was coming from. We kept pawing at that thing and no kitty came out! I started nipping mom (gentle nips of course) and still she wouldn't let me see the kitty! Next time mom is going to take pictures or video of us when the flat cat comes out.

V-E-T and other four letter words

Ok I know V-E-T isn't a four letter word, but D-I-E-T is!
I went to the vet on Friday for my yearly check up, she told me I was very handsome but since I now weigh 24 pounds, I have to slim down some. She's not buying that maine coon thing. Darn it! Mom & Mr. Man decided to give me and everyone else less treats for a start and monitor my weight. And get me to play more, I already play lots but she will make a point to play things I like more often too. If this doesn't work, they may have to rethink how they arefeeding us.

We only do dry since Chessie won't eat the gooshy stuff. I will eat gooshy food a little bit, and Sinbad will gorge on it. So if any furs have tips please share!

Yesterday was a very scary day.

They did fire alarm testing of our building yesterday and we did know about it but wouldn't you know they showed up early.

If they would have shown up on time us kitties would have been locked securely in the bedroom with Mommy to protect us but they came in and scared me. I growl when someone knocks on MY door. So I growled and Mom took Chessie upstairs, I tried to go but got scared and ran to hide under the recliner. Them testing the heat sensors wasn't too loud but a few minutes later that loud thing went off and I hid.

Once it went off for real and we had to be evacuated since some neighbor lit their balcony on fire. That was super scary. Me and Chessie hid and Mommy wasn't gonna leave without us so the firemen kept knocking on the door and yelling at us to get out. Finally she caught us.

So I really don't like that alarm thing, it is very scary.

After a few hours yesterday I came out from my hidey spot but I was still on edge. Today is better though. I'm dictating my diary to my secretary while watching the sunrise.

Oh mommy.....

So tomorrow mommy is going to this Catfest thing with Lolly & the McNoNo's mommy. Mine is worried that she will fall in love with a kitty and Mr. Man said no more kitties in the house. So mommy is just going to have to window shop and hopefully bring us back some fun stuff!

Why yes, I am a Momma's boy

I greeted Mommy at the door by stretching up the side of it. I was just so happy to see her.

Then she told me that she is always the happiest when she gets to come home from work to see us and called me handsome.

Plus she told me a story her coworker told her about how a policeman did a u turn in the road and put on his lights to get in front of the car that mommy's coworker was driving so he could protect a little kitty that was sitting in the road. That was very nice of the policeman and we hope the kitty was ok.

It's Fathers Day!

I let my Mr. Man sleep until his alarm went off and instead woke Mommy up at 4am.
