Arrival Story:
Sebastian was living in a small feral colony in City Park, New Orleans. He had been abused, he was starving, covered in fleas, and wounded. His sister, Cerridwen, made a desperate attempt to steal our potato chips and I caught them both (as well as their brother, Oberon). We were told they wouldn't last a week due to their horrific condition. That was in 1993. Even the vet was happy to be proven wrong.

Bio:
Sebastian is a survivor. Tough, strong silent type, he has bounced back from life in a feral colony, being abused and malnourished, falling off a second story balcony onto a cobblestone street, developing benign cysts in his skin, dealing with spondylosis of both the tail and cervical spine (as well as arthritis), having to take daily medications and weekly intermuscular injections; not to mention emotionally surviving the loss of his beloved brother (who was also his best friend and trusted second in command). He's a "one-person" cat, and I'm proud that he chose me for that bond. He is the uncontested Alpha Male (and has been for 11 years) of the household, which includes 8 other cats, 1 dog, and 3 rats. Most people are afraid of him, but with me he's just a sweet, affectionate velcro-boy who loves me no matter what...just as I love him. I would do anything for this cat, and he's proven that he'd do anything for me.
