outdoors Arrival Story: Not really an arrival, but a meeting story that has happened in fall 2000: __________________________________ __________
I lived in a really small and awful / boring village for some interim weeks when we met. One morning I left for work and a second after I started I saw this panicked kitty running towards the street. Fortunately the bike had ABS so I did not fall while pulling the brakes as hard as possible. She crossed the street right in front of my front wheel and the whole day I was more wondering if I had hurt her tail then working. The same evening we met again. This time much more relaxed. I parked the bike and then she stood there. I kneeled to tell her I was very sorry for this almost-accident in the morning. She forgave me. __________
Few days later we met again. I came home late at night and saw these diamonds in the dark. Considering it was her I kneeled once more to give her "nice-to-see-you" pets. Anyway she must have understood this as invitation. From that evening on she spent every minute with me. She awaited me when I came from work. Demanded entrance by night and I left open the window for her although it was already late October. She brought living mice and birds. She brought also dead mice for a nice dinner with me. As I knew I would have to leave I never feeded her or gave her treats but it seemed that little girl liked me a little though. Me - or the pillow we shared...

So what one can learn from this: Do never(!) make a cat a compliment if you do not want to be adopted! Bio: That girl is best proof that cats select their humans not vice versa. She was tattooed and obviously must have had a "home" but preferred to stay with me every minute I was at home. Hard to say who was the saddest of us when I had to leave for the big city. ____________________^.^___________ ______________
A part of my heart still is with her (and will always be) and I hope it helps her to survive and have found best luck! Forums Motto: a biker saved my life
