Arrival Story: Sophie and Tammy came to my house when Sophie was little. I was unable to touch Tammy, who I believe is Sophie's mom until last week. I got her in a carrier and took her to be spayed. I let her stay for two days to rest and recover since she had no home to go to. She came home on 10/20/2007. On 10/21/2007 she carried 4 little kittens over and put them under my neighbors car. I spotted her out there and went to see what she was doing. She started hissing and the kittens crawled up in the engine. I got the neighbors to help me that night and we had to jack up the car to get the kittens out of their hiding spots. I brought everyone inside. They are all getting so sweet.
On 10/23/2007 a tree fell on and around the car they had been hiding under.
Bio: Well, our human mom thought she would find us new homes, but of course, we are so cute, who would she decide to send away.
At first she thought there were 2 boys and 2 girls, but since we look so much alike, she picked our sister up twice. We are 3 boys and one little girl.
Mom finally named us. Our girl sibling is Savannah or Savvy (which she is). The brothers are Nickolas (mama's boy), Kristopher and Gabriel (or Little Bit of Trouble).
We are growing up so fast. It is hard to believe. Mom says these big kittens must have swallowed the 4 Little Kittens. We are very happy to have been rescued and look forward to a long and happy life with our cat mom and human mom.

Forums Motto: How many directions can 4 kitties run?
Mom brings this thing in, she calls it a broom and we just love it. Gabriel likes it best and takes over as usual. He lives up to his Little Bit of Trouble name.
Mom pulls the big broom toy and we stand back, watch and then run over, dive on it and hold on tight while mom pulls it. She says we are hindering progress. We say we are having a great kitten time.
Then there is the water bowl. Finally, Gabe is the good kitten. He likes to drink with his tongue. What a boring kitten!
Last night Savvy really had fun. Mom brought in a new bowl of water. Gabe was drinking and Savvy went over and started digging in it like a dog digging a hole. Water was flying all over Gabe. He kept backing up until he was in the litter box. Then he tipped it over and he was covered in water and litter.
He took off running. Mom went to get paper towels. When she turned around Savvy was still throwing water, Nick was dipping his paws in and licking them and everyone else was watching.
Mom got another bowl of water, it has to be screwed to the playpen or we would really have fun. We played in that too. We are very messy. Mom said she is getting us a gerbil bottle. That does not sound like fun.
Well, we had an adventure last night. Mom came in to clean our boxes before bedtime and we were all in huddle. Mom came over to look too and Gabriel was growling. The rest of us wanted to get closer, but he kept up that growling.
Mom finally got a look. Gabe had a cricket. Yuck, mom said. Well, we did not say yuck. We were thrilled. This was great. Gabe said he caught him and we would not have him, so we had to stand back while Gabe took care of business.
Then we all started looking around. We all wanted a turn, but there were no more and we had to go back to playing with plain old cat toys.
As far as mom has seen, that was our first catch and we were so excited.
Savannah went running down the hall, determined to find one for herself. She has the strongest hunter instinct of all of us and was somewhat disappointed that Gabriel got to have all the fun.
Nick and Kris, Sophie and Tammy were interested, but they knew this was Gabe's big moment, so they let him have it. Also, he had a pretty fierce growl going.
We heard mom getting up this morning. That is always an exciting time of day (breakfast, hugs, clean box, etc).
Today mom came in our room and Sophie (our kitten sister) made a little squeaky meow at mom. Mom meows at Snuggle (senior sister) and Snuggle talks to her. Mom meowed back at Sophie in a little squeaky meow.
We all froze and stared at her. She made another little noise at Sophie and Sophie's eyes were huge. Mom looked at the rest of us and it was clear we were terrified.
Mom decided to stop that and get our breakfast, but when she moved, there was a panic and all six of us, including Tammy, our mom, dove from the cat tree, window, etc. and raced for a hiding spot under the bed.
Nickolaus was in the corner. His eyes have never been open wider. He was frozen in place.
Mom does not know what she said. We told her not to speak "cat" if you do not know what you are telling us. She wondered if maybe she said she was having us for breakfast. We hope mom does not do that anymore. We are usually so calm with mom, but it must have been bad to scare all 6 of us.
Gabriel was the last kitten under the bed. His bum was sticking out. He thinks if his head is hidden, he is hidden. We were glad mom did not get him.
