After losing another cat to illness, we adopted Beatrix at the local shelter. When I walked into the cat room looking for a new kitty, she ran right up to me and demanded my attention, and I just couldn't say no.

Beatrix lives with my parents in the country, where she is queen of 5 silly dogs. She loves to lounge in the sun and dig her claws in when you're petting her.
