Ahhh!!!I just love spring!So warm and inviting.I am LOVING it!!!I love to lay in the warm sunshine,as I have probably mentioned before.Something strange has been going on lately though.Something weird.My owner has been talking about getting a DOG!!!!At least I think thats what she called it.I am pretty sure dogs are those big animals that bark at me.Thay hate me,and I hate them.My owner obviously wants one, for thats all she ever talks about anymore.I really dont like them but my owner REALLY REALLY does.She said that I can,"Get over it".I am not really sure what thats supposed to mean but ok.I have encountered a few dogs in my life.One of them I chased out of my yard.The other I was scared of.I have twodogs right next door to me in fact.Well,thats all I have to say for now.Until then, goodbye!!
As I sit here in the sun with the warmth of the rays glistening on my soft fur I wonder.I wonder what it would be like to go to unknown woods, not to have an owner, nowhere to go.The thought made me shiver, even though it was clearly warm outside.Would I get lost? Hurt? Hungary?I would definately be lonely, thats for sure.A slight breeze blew.I decided I would get up and take a walk around the yard.I had benn laying there for quite a while now and I needed to get my blood circulating again.I walked around the corner of the house and jumped up on a picnic table.I liked that spot and I started to lay down when I spoted something.It was a bug!!!Ha ha ha!!I got you now!i jumped of the table and scampered after it.I dodged.I jumped.POW!I got it!!When I lifted up my paw I was get ready to eat it, but to my despite it had gotten away.It was getting dark and the last rays of the sun where going down behind the mountains.My owner doesnt like me to stay outside at night, there are coyotes and other scary animals.Even though some nights such as this I like to stay out.I dont care about "scary" animals. I hid in the bushes. My owner came swiftly down the steps. She called my name several times.I refused to come. Then she went back up the steps and into the house.Whew!I came out of my hiding place.She was gone, I could finally come out.Then, I heard a noise!The back door opened and out came my owner.I hid again.This time she had a bag, a treat bag!She shook it.I really wanted one.I bolted across the lawn and rubbed my owner on the leg.She petted me and gave me a treat.She then reached down, picked me up,and took me inside.
On warm sunny nights I love staying outside.My owner doesnt like it much because we have dangerous coyotes in our area.I like to lay in my fave spot on top of a picnic table.The only thing that is annoying is that horrible dog next door who barks at me all the time.I love to explore but I have bounderies.Ialways come back for affection and food,and occasionally a treat.Chicken and mint.Yum!!!
