Arrival Story:
We went to the Humane Society in search of a cat. I hoped that we'd be able to find a Siamese. We spotted Pablo (who was at the time going by the unfortunate name of Yoda) but another woman standing in front of his cage said she was going to take him. We picked out a Siamese kitten instead and went to ask to "visit" with him. They told us that kitten already had two holds placed on him, so most likely he'd be adopted by one of those people. As we were talking about this, the woman who wanted the adult Siamese was being told by someone else at the front desk that she couldn't adopt him because she had a child, and someone had flagged this cat for not going to a home with small children. So as she stormed out in anger, we said, "Hey, can we meet that cat?" And we took him into the "meeting room," he wooed us for a few minutes, and we were instantly in love. We took him home a few minutes later.

Bio:
Pablo is right now an only cat, but I have high hopes of getting him a buddy in the future. I think he'd like a friend to curl up with.
