Arrival Story:
I was ambivalent about getting or having a pet to be honest, and expecially a cat, having always been a dog owner. Apartments seldom allow dogs these days, and it so happens my neighbors had too many kittens, they didn't know what to do with them all, I got my little guy when he was about six weeks old. Well, my cat soon lived up to his name of "Gigabyte" when I discovered that he was responsible for downloading programs while I was asleep. I would occasionally wonder how a program would end up downloaded on my computer, one night I woke up to see my cat walk across the keyboard while the computer happened to be on a page that offered a download. He would coincidentally hit the keys in such a way that the download would begin and COMPLETE! I couldn't believe it!

Bio:
After I owned the cat for about two months he set my apartment on fire. I came home from school one day to fire trucks outside my door, everyone looked at me to say that my apartment was on fire! The firemen initially thought that it was a lamp or electrical short out, but I discovered later what happened. My cat must have climbed up to a high shelf and knocked a decoritive wicker basket off the shelf and onto a hologen lamp that was unfortunately left on. The fire was so bad we had to move. I jokingly say that if my cat doesn't like my new apartment he will burn it down while I'm gone!
