Hooray for me! I am stoked! (Thankyou mum, who made me update!) I will take this opportunity to ask anyone who thinks I am dashing (And who wouldn't?) or who thinks I might make a fine furry friend - which, I would - should make friends with me! I welcome all new friends, seeing as most of my friends back here don't have catster pages!
But on another note, my mother has gone and gotten sunburnt. She says if this keeps up, she won't be surprised if she gets skin cancer. I know she's exaggerating, but all the same.
Also, Mum has been studying my bigger versions (not better!) the lions. She wanted me to let anyone know that all facts on lions are appreciated - just leave a message. But the focus is on me, so what have I been doing now....

I slept under the strange tree last night - I got stars in my eyes from the flashing lights. I patrolled my territory today and found to my disgust another cat just inside my scent markers. I soon showed her! I made sure she wouldn't come back and then I went to sleep inside on the ironing board. So anyway, I haven't much else to add. I feel certain I would, if my friends kept in contact with me!
Again, sypathies for Smudge for he seemed a fine cat.

Christmas is coming. I think.

Well, Mum made me update, soooooo - at least some interesting things have happened now!
On Saturday, Mum woke up late and spent the day watching a movie - then they disappeared until late that night - Mum hasn't told me where they went, and I haven't bothered to ask.
On Sunday, Mum woke up REALLY late and went straight to the computer. She wanted me to watch her later on - she was talking to someone, she said but I couldn't hear anything - she said it was called 'chatting'. Then she was making a calendar for next year with photos of me on Shutterfly. I can, of course, understand her love for me, but she really should have asked my permission before using photos of me!
Then Mum's mum came home. They pulled down all these boxes from the hole in the roof. They let me sleep in one (it was dusty, but comfy). Then, I turned around to see that they were erecting that funny tree. They do this every year at around the same time and take it down early the next year. They call it "Christmas". I can remember my first christmas - it was wonderful.
Mum buys me something every year, just like she does on Simba Day (She calls this my birthday). They decorated the tree and that ugly bird screeched at them for ages. I was good. I've seen it before and so has he so he should have handled it just as well as I did. When it was all lit up, I must admit I had a surge of excitement! It looked wonderful and made me long for the day when all the presents come. Someday, Mum says she'll explain what "Christmas" is all about. But I have no idea - it often makes me wonder? Humans are generally selfish creatures, so what could provoke them into spending so much time and money on other humans?

What have I been doing?

Hey everyone! Simba's outside right now so i decided to update his page a bit. I felt he needed to let everyone know what he's been up to - afraid he's been a bit careless lately - how could he have stayed away so long?
He sends sympathy to Smudge whom he was only just getting to know but he knows he is ok.
Of course, I am Simba's mum. He is not a very dedicated cat - his determination can waver very quickly. He has gone off writing a book, but he would still love to meet more cats! he welcomes any friends.
Now, what has Simba been up to lately? Hmmmm...... well, in the recent storms, he found sanctuary in my overturned clothes basket covered in a blanket - oops, gotta pack up, I have english now but I will update at lunch!
