Arrival Story:
My old cat Smokey ran away back in 1999, and I was taking it really hard for many years. So pretty much the only way I could get over him is if I got a new cat to love and to cherish. So in 2001 I was looking through the newspaper ad's for pets, and I noticed that this woman was giving away cats for free. So I whined and whined to my mom to take me and of course she said no, so I of course sucked up to my dad and he took me the next day after school. When I went to the house it was a complete dump, garbage ALL over the place outside and inside. The lady brought Matty to me and of course I could not say no and he didn't look happy there at all. So I brought him home and that night I found out that he had FLEAS. All because of where he was living, so I believe I pretty much rescued him.
