Arrival Story:
We got Bean (previously named Beany) from a shelter in NJ when he was 4 years old. He was adopted from the shelter as a kitten by his first family, who bought him back after 4 years...real reason unknow...but I suspect it may have been due to his constant yowling. He picked my husband out instantly, approached and stretched out his paw to him accompanied by a weak cry. We thought he could't meow at first, but actually he lost his voice from constant "talking" and yowling. We found out he could really belt out the tunes a few weeks later. He is a severe attention hound. Sometimes it is annoying, but I would never consider giving him up.
