Cat of the Week!!! Wow!!!June 11th 2008 7:14 pm[ Leave A Comment ]
Well, now that my week in the spotlight is almost up, I just wanted to say, Thank You, to Catster, the voters and to all the cool cats that left me stars, rosettes, gifts and treats. I've made a lot of new friends and it's been great!! I know my Dad and Mom are soo proud of me and they thought this would be the perfect opportunity for more people to learn about Cerebellar Hypoplasia. If my Dad and Mom weren't there to help me when I was younger, I don't know how or if I would have adapted as well as I have. CH kitties need a little more time and attention, but, we're worth it! Thanks Again, Everyone!!

Thanksgiving is not the only time to be grateful and I've been tagged by Snickers to share Five things that I'm grateful for and now I'm tagging you.
Living w/Cerebellar HypoplasiaOctober 24th 2007 11:51 am[ Leave A Comment ] When I was born, I thought everything was okay, but, then my siblings passed away. I didn't understand what was going on, but, my Fur Mom stayed strong. I know at night, she cried, but, she wouldn't leave my side. She kept me warm, fed and clean and she would take a break in between. As I started to grow and explore, I would stumble and fall to the floor. I thought that I was just a clumsy cat, but, I soon learned it wasn't as simple as that. My human Dad and Mom took me to the Vet and he said my struggles, weren't over yet. He said that I would need someone around to help me eat, drink and go poo and I thought to myself, "I'll show you." So, one day Mom jumped up to help me get a drink and I gently bit her hand and said, "I can do this, I think." Now I wanted to learn how to jump on the bed. I guess I wasn't doing too good, because Mom's legs were all red. I eventually realized that I shouldn't use, Mom as my landing pad, so, I started using my Dad! Hee! Hee! I still shake, wobble and fall down occasionally, but, I don't let it upset me. Living w/CH has been rough, but, I'm lucky that I'm pretty tough!
